One of Marvel's most hotly anticipated series, "Loki," starring Tom Hiddleston as the God of Mischief himself, finally has a season two release date and trailer. After season one's cliffhanger ending, the cast returns for an adventure that spans multiple timelines, alongside exciting newcomers to the series like Ke Huy Quan.

What is 'Loki' about?
Marvel series "Loki" follows up on a version of the comic book character Loki, played by Tom Hiddleston, in the aftermath of his escape from the events of "Avengers: Endgame." Loki is whisked away to the Time Variance Authority (the TVA) and joins in on their efforts to track down another variant of himself. While assisting the TVA he meets Mobius M. Mobius (Owen Wilson) and another variant of himself, Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino).
Season one ended on a cliffhanger, as events the various Lokis set into motion released Kang, He Who Remains (Jonathan Majors). The trailer for the second season reveals that Loki has been slipping through time, and he and Mobius go on a journey to save the timeline, running into familiar faces like Sylvie and Ravonna Renslayer (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) along the way.
When does 'Loki' season 2 come out?
"Loki" season two will premiere on Disney+ on October 6, 2023. New episodes will release weekly on Fridays following the premiere—the new season will feature six episodes.

"Loki" will stream in its entirety on Disney+—you can sign up for Disney+ starting at $7.99 per month with ads, or bundle with Hulu for just $9.99 per month.
Cast of 'Loki'
The new trailer for "Loki" revealed that most of the original cast will return for the series—given the multiversal nature of the plot, it's unclear in some cases whether or not actors will appear in their original roles. In the trailer, we see Owen Wilson as Mobius, Sophia Di Martino as Sylvie, Wunmi Mosaku as B-15, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Ravonna Renslayer, Jonathan Majors as Kang (or a variant thereof) and more, as well as newcomers like Ke Huy Quan as OB.
Eugene Cordero, Rafael Casal, Tara Strong, Kate Dickie and Liz Carr also star.
